About the Hosts:

When they were just toddlers, Abby and Ellie met. The rest as they say is history. Over 25 years later their friendship is still strong. Because of the pandemic in 2020, the two shared a lot of extra….free time. As a result, they started a comedy podcast and what you see (and hear) today!

Abby

Abby is a high school teacher originally from the greater Chicagoland area. In her spare time, she enjoys being a “True Crime Bruff”, consuming all media related to murders and mayhem. She also enjoys playing board games, drinking wine, experimenting with coffee drinks, cooking new recipes, and attempting yoga, though not exactly in that order.

Ellie

Ellie is a firefighter and Paramedic, born in Texas, raised in Wisconsin, but mostly from the Chicago area. She loves biking the lakefront trails, traveling, and queer comics anthologies. She also runs a lot but she’s not sure if she likes it.

Great personalities amazing research, and most importantly a podcast that is respectful of the topics that they are talking about. They are super knowledgeable and super funny. Could not recommend this more to people. I’m not even the biggest fan of “horror” but have enjoyed listening to them so much, that I look forward to each new episode.

Queers for Fears is an amazing podcast that features horror stories ranging from bad dates to haunted places. Each episode has me wanting more. The girls do their research to make sure the stories are accurate. If you are a horror junkie, who happens to like Podcasts…this one is for you. 10/10 stars.
